The Service is intended for parents, guardians, and family members creating content for children. You represent that you are using the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws, including child protection laws like COPPA in the US, GDPR in the EU, and CCPA/CPRA in California.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features (e.g., personal voice recreation or saving stories), you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Use of the Service

• Permitted Use: You may use the Service to create, customize, and listen to age-appropriate stories for children. Features include selecting themes, ages (e.g., 0-2, 3-5, 6-8), voices, and personal voice recreation with explicit consent.
• Personal Voice Recreation: Personal voice recreation requires recording a short audio sample (e.g., 30-60 seconds). You must obtain explicit consent from the person whose voice is being used. Recreated voices are for personal, non-commercial use only within the App.
• Prohibited Use: You may not use the Service for illegal purposes, harassment, or harm to others; upload or create content that is obscene, violent, discriminatory, or inappropriate for children; reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service; use automated tools to access or scrape the Service; or share, sell, or distribute recreated voices or stories without permission.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., custom stories or voice recordings). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party rights (e.g., copyrights). We may remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including logos, designs, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

"HuggleTales" and associated trademarks are our property.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free features (e.g., limited stories) and paid subscriptions (e.g., unlimited stories, premium voices). Pricing is detailed in the App. Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play). You agree to their terms.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. Refunds are subject to our policy and app store rules—no refunds for partial periods.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Personal voice recreation is AI-generated and may not perfectly replicate the original voice. We are not responsible for any misuse of recreated voices.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate your access for any reason, including violations.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
