What this service does

HuggleTales creates personalised bedtime stories for children and reads them aloud in a parent’s own recorded voice. The website presents the service, explains pricing, hosts our blog and support pages, and lets you contact us, join the newsletter, reset your password or delete your account.

Standard we apply

We aim to meet EN 301 549 and, with it, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA. In practice that means: the site can be operated by keyboard alone, works with screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA, keeps text contrast at 4.5:1 or better, respects your system settings for text size and reduced motion, and stays usable at 400% zoom.

Conformance status

The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Partially conformant” means most of the service meets the standard, with the exceptions listed below. This assessment is based on our own review (self-assessment) carried out on 7 August 2026; no external audit has been commissioned yet.

Known limitations we are working on:

• The free PDF checklists offered for download are not fully tagged for screen readers. On request we will send you the same content as plain text or accessible HTML within a few working days.
• Some older blog articles contain embedded infographics and tables whose text alternatives are incomplete or missing.
• The App Store badges and analytics scripts embedded from third parties are outside our control; we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
• Story cover images inside the app are generated automatically, so their text alternatives describe the story title rather than the picture itself.

We reply within 48 hours and will tell you what we can do and by when. If you need the content in a different format, ask and we will provide it.
